Acupressure is a science for treating health issues as well as a method for preventing and curing diseases. By balancing the positives and negatives of the flow of the vital energy (Chi or Pran) and the body fluids, acupressure helps people achieve and maintain good health. The damaged organ (or organs) are corrected to function harmoniously with the other organs and the body as a whole. Additionally, acupressure provides analgesic or pain-relieving properties. In the end, achieving a homeostasis of the body involves curing diseases and coordinating the actions of the body's many organs and components.

    What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture, sometimes referred to as the needling theory, is a medical procedure that uses a needle by putting it into the body at a specified location on the human body. It is a Chinese treatment practise that dates back 5000 years. The flow of chi is said to be disturbed and thrown out of balance whenever we experience any kind of disease. As a result, the goal of acupuncture is to restore a balanced flow of energy throughout the body by applying pressure to the appropriate sites and clearing away any chi blockages. Direct touch therapy refers to acupuncture.
