    A 3-year diploma-level education in hotel management is called a "diploma in hotel management." The diploma in hotel management course, which is broken up into six semesters, is focused on managing hotel administration, accounts, advertising, housekeeping, front desk or front office, food and beverage management, catering, and upkeep.

    Students must pass the 10+2 class from an accredited school board, or its equivalent. Although certain colleges or universities have entrance tests for admission to Diploma in Hotel Management courses in India, admission to this course is typically based on merit. The cost of the course is between 10,000 and 2,000,000.

    Basic food production, health hygiene, lodging operations, marketing sales management, computer applications, hotel law, and basic food and beverage service are some of the themes covered in this curriculum.
