Welcome to Bir Tikendrajit University!

Our vision based on our value system gives us the confidence of growing into a leading educational institution not only in India, but also globally.

We draw our inspiration from Bir Tikendrajit the “lion of Manipur”, after whom the University is named and the people of Manipur. Our dream is to ensure that Manipuri youth and the youth from North East benefit from the intellectual, innovative and inclusive environment of Bir Tikendrajit University. We want to build a body of academic work in various domains that will benefit not only our students & faculty, but also contribute to our country’s growth.

2020 is being viewed as a year of crises. It is also a year of opportunities. We are establishing ourselves now as a multi-disciplinary university. While we begin with baby steps, we have a keen eye on the future, bringing in subjects and domains that help our students learn with inquisitive minds and implement with practised ease. Blended education is the mode we will adopt and create platforms for the youth, professionals wanting to re-skill themselves and for people who want turn business owners.

We sincerely hope Bir Tikendrajit University will be a home away from home for all our students and that everyone associated with us will find that association fruitful & enriching.
